In the unpatched mod, the Russian AI was brain-dead, leading to a Central Powers victory by turn 20. The patch gives Tsarist forces a massive numerical buff but penalizes their supply lines. You will watch Russia collapse in 1917 only if you, as Germany, execute the "Ludendorff Offensive" correctly. It is brilliantly stressful.
