In the early 2000s, the "Taiwanese Drama Wave" was at its peak. While Meteor Garden introduced us to the world of F4, it was the 2004 drama that proved just how deep and mature a teen romance series could be. Adapted from the Japanese manga Mars by Fuyumi Soryo, this series remains a gold standard for the "bad boy meets quiet girl" trope.
