The film follows him discovering a single spreadsheet error that reveals a money laundering scheme tied to a political assassination. Unlike typical Bollywood thrillers, "The Accountant 2025" is slow-burning, dialogue-heavy, and ends with a 5-minute static shot of the protagonist staring at a green line graph. Critics called it "arthouse meets Excel."

SigmaSeries, however, sees it differently. On January 3, they finally re-uploaded the official fixed version. But by then, the "fan-fixed" version had already been downloaded 500,000 times via Telegram.
